Hi, I am Adya

Karuna Reiki & Animal Reiki Master-Teacher

I am blessed with a loving husband, two beautiful children, and the delightful company of my dog and cat.

My background in microbiology and dentistry gave me a profound understanding of the scientific workings of life. However, I found that pursuing knowledge through purely intellectual means couldn’t always explain the full depth of the human experience. Many of my life’s moments transcended scientific logic, calling for a more multifaceted approach.

This realisation guided me to integrate my scientific foundation with philosophy, spirituality, Reiki, Gnosis, crystals, tarot, and astrology. By weaving these modalities together, I have fostered a truly holistic understanding of the world around me.

Like many of us, I used to immerse myself in the busyness of everyday life, brushing my issues aside and letting them accumulate on an ever-expanding to-do list. I constantly promised myself I would address them “someday,” yet that moment never seemed to arrive.

The pandemic changed everything. The things I had kept hidden for years surfaced, and ignorance was no longer an option. Although I was already attuned to Reiki, I hadn’t practiced consistently. In a moment of desperation, I began regular self-Reiki sessions and discovered a profound new sense of well-being.

This marked the beginning of my transformative journey toward becoming a Karuna and Animal Reiki Master. I humbly surrendered to “Reiki Care,” and in turn, Reiki graciously nurtured me. Today, I understand that every small step contributes to my overall health. Slowly and steadily, I am embracing the deep connection between myself and the infinite Universe.

“Energy healing is a universal right and a gift from the Divine.

I recognise that it is the Divine who heals & believe it should be accessible to everyone. In my practice, I act only as a channel for Divine healing energy to flow. The healing comes through me, not from me. I am simply the vessel for that Grace. Guided by this truth I accept contributions not as a “fee,” but as a gift of sustenance and a blessing. While I do suggest a contribution to support my work, payment is never compulsory and if the suggested price is not feasible for you, please know that you are welcome to pay any part of that amount that suits your current circumstances.
